Pro Dive’s IDC Mexico Locations

Visit some of the thirteen locations of Pro Dive International.

Coming to join the Pro Dive International Instructor Development Course means setting your foot in a company which has over a dozen locations in Mexico, plus some dive centers in the Dominican Republic. If you take some time to explore the area before starting your IDC, you can already choose to dive from Cancun, Isla Mujeres, or Cozumel. All these names might ring a bell as they are world-famous for the beautiful waters and beaches that you can see.

Study time!

Becoming a diving instructor is not only underwater time, and even less beach time! Therefore Pro Dive International has created a comfortable study environment in one of its partner hotels where you will have a quiet air-conditioned classroom, steps away from the training swimming pool and the ocean. Coffee breaks will allow you to walk through the Allegro Playacar gardens and see the local animals living there. Keep your eyes opened for the big iguanas!

Water time!

During the Instructor Development Course, you will need to practice skills in a controlled environment. This means for example going into swimming pools. Depending on the skills which will be practiced, you will be using some of the beautiful Playacar pools, or driving up to our Maroma location. To practice in Open Water, you will visit the Royal Hideaway dive center from which you will hop on the boat to witness the blue waters of the Riviera Maya.

Cenote time!

Your PADI Instructor Examination will take place in a cenote. Therefore you will get to practice and experience this special type of diving during the IDC too. You will be blown away by the majestic scenery and clear water. Ideal to teach and train!

Choosing to take your IDC with Pro Dive International surely offers you many opportunities of discovering dive settings, dive locations and having an increased experience before jumping into the pro-instructor world. Please contact us to know more about the future dates and additional training that we offer in our IDC with our Course Director Walter G Schmit.
