Los Haitises National Park is a remote protected virgin forest area on the remote northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. Multiple caverns have been created by water erosion, and adorned by native Americans with pictographs and petroglyphs. Los Haitises contains the greatest abundance of Caribbean mangrove and marine life.
