Your Course DirectorLeo Saldunbides

Leo’s passion for diving and freediving started in his childhood back home in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, where he fell in love with the ocean, its inhabitants, the feeling of freedom and weightlessness.

His passion for diving and teaching in a variety of popular diving destinations around the world, such as Brazil, the Bahamas, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Portugal, the Netherlands, Malaysia and Cape Verde, made Leo thrive in his personality and profession, and renowned in the diving industry.

In his career as a PADI Course Director, he certified over 2,200 students, while completing more than 7,500 dives. Leo is qualified to teach technical diving such as Sidemount and Tec Deep, among other areas.

Leo offers GoPro packages and instructor development within Pro Dive’s IDC Mexico, and teaches in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He’s looking forward to sharing his passion, experience and knowledge with you, and to turning you into a world-class Divemaster or Instructor.
