Punta Tunich

In brief: Beautiful Wall and well known for its strong and turbulent Currents. This dive can be your 1st or 2nd one of the day.

Depth/ Time: 50 – 120 ft, ±45 min

Currents: Strong and turbulent 

Skills: Advanced. Due to Current for experienced divers only. Watch depth Gauge.

Life: Occasional patrolling Nurse Shark and Eagle Rays, Barracuda. Also splendid Toadfish and Sea Horse

Dive: Start an a wide flat sandy area, 60-80 ft, with vertical drop-off. Most marine life is observed between 60-70ft along the upper part of the wall. North section of reef is slightly deeper. Cross over to the sandbank about 45ft until end of dive
